Sleep in a colder environment
It’s difficult to sleep if you’re too hot / stuffy.
Take a hot bath / shower
Avoid Stimulants
Coffee / caffeine, tea, nicotine, chocolate and fizzy drinks like Coke all count as stimulants, so try and avoid this too late in the day.
Avoid eating too close to bed
It’s also important you’re not hungry before you go to bed too.
Don’t workout just before bed
Exercising just before bed can keep you up longer. Exercise earlier in the day though, as this will actually help.
